The Meadow

Juuniji walks through the flowers, wondering what their reason for living is. His puppy trails behind him, eagerly shifting its head. There was no particular reason for going out into the meadow, but it was better than doing nothing. His eyes were devoid of color, meaning that he was bored. As for his dog however, its fur was constantly changing colors. The strange new area and smells had him excited to be in such a different place.

Violet was lying in the medow, covered by the grass, trying to sleep away the afternoon. Which wasnt going well considering it was begining to rain on her. -stupid rain...- she thought to herself as she brushed a few drops from her face. She brought her arms behind her head and rested on them, facing the sky, eyes closed and peacefull. Suddenly the wind was knocked out of her as someone stepped on her stomach. Her eyes few open, black as coal, and she gasped and shot up, knocking the person over. She wrapped her arms around herself in a lame attempt to stop her tummy from aching. She looked over at the boy who had fallen into the grass. "Ouch dude, you've got a hard boot" she said grumpily.

Violet notices there's someone else here. She looks over at the girl who seems to be just staring into the sky. She stands up and brushes the dirt off her jeans and tee. She tilted her head to the left wondering what could be wrong with the girl; she seemed upset. She slowly walked up to the girl from behind and tapped her on the shoulder, "Hey, uh, are you okay?"

*Smiles joyfuly and begins to run around happily*
I love meadows!....Their so beautiful!....This meadow is....just like the one at home....it's just like....our meadow.....
